These exquisite sun-dried tomatoes are moist, only slightly salted
and delicately perfumed with rosemary
Meze House discovered a greek farmer in the Peloponese, who grows tomatoes in the same traditionnal way as his father and grand-father, using only natural fertilisers. He then dries them in the sun. We add rosemary and laurel handpicked in his field, oil, but no salt.
This is the secret of our sun-dried Tomatoes with rosemary which are so tasty and moist.
Unfortunately, tomatoes are usually dried in ovens and then preserved in salt. This explains their hard consistency, salted taste and dark colour.
Ingredients : sun-dried re-hydrated tomatoes, wine vinegar, sunflower + extra-virgin olive oil, rosemary, laurel, citric acid.
Use : delicious as an aperitif, on canapés, with pasta, rice, salads, stuffed meat and poultry. In salads, sandwiches, savoury cakes + muffins, quiches, cheese pastries, turnovers etc.
